Tourism Crisis Management Office monitors the situation in the airports affected by the Iceland’s volcano ash cloud

Due to the volcano eruption in southern Iceland some airports in European countries are still closed. Despite the information that some airports will resume their operation soon, the Crisis Management Office advises Macau residents that before departing  to Europe they should pay attention to any information issued by the airports and airlines as well as information on flight changes as to avoid travel delays. Residents may also request assistance through the Macau Tourism hotline - (853) 2833 3000 or visit the Tourism Crisis Management Office website at:

Until 12:00am today (April 20) the Tourism Crisis Management Office and tourism hotline received 24 calls for support. The Macau Identification Services has not yet received any aid-related request regarding the loss of documents.
